André Rodrigues da Cruz – EBTT Professor at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG) since 2014. He worked from 2018 to 2020 as a Technical Collaborator at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP). He worked as a Professor of Higher Education at the Federal University of Viçosa from 2011 to 2014. Doctor and master in Electrical Engineering, in the area of Optimization, and a bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, specialist in Applied Data Science with Python, from the University of Michigan, and in Investment Management by the University of Geneva. He works mainly on the following topics: mono, multiobjective, non-linear, linear, combinatorial optimization, with limited objectives and high cost; meta-optimization; evolutionary algorithms; algorithms and data structures; simulation; mathematical modeling; and development of digital games.
